This is the original version of the HT-5 without the reverb but considered to have a tighter midrange than the later spec amps. Lovely fizzy distortion which really beefs up with the sensitive mid control, the voicing of which you can change with what they call the ISF - really a semi-parametric mid. It's genuinely a great piece of kit, ideal for home recording or playing parties. A big step up from solid-state practice amps. Distortion levels ideal for blues or classic rock, put your favourite tubescreamer clone ahead of it if you're after modern heavy metal tones.
