Lovely 17" black leather treeless saddle for sale. The panels are made of memory foam and has a channel so it doesn't sit on the spine which helps this saddle fit most low/no withered horses. The seat is also made of memory foam with a lovely deep seat that makes it very comfortable to ride on. It has good knee rolls which are great for jumping and has plenty of d rings to attach saddle bags/crupper etc. It is approx 10" d to d ring, so perfect for cob types or horses that are fairly wide. Black 17" Fhoenix/Phoenix GP treeless saddle Hardly used (half a dozen times only!), this saddle is in immaculate condition with no marks or indents to the memory foam panels on the underside.  No marks or discolouration to the leather.  The dressage leathers are not included, but can be bought separately (see my other listings). Made in England, the Fhoenix has has a soft front arch, which expands and contracts automatically to accommodate all but very high withered horses. It is recommended that a high whither numah be used to allow the saddle full flexibility to fit the horse.. It has a soft-tree meaning that the horses shoulders are much less restricted. Having flexibility laterally means that the saddle will allow the horse's back to round up and carry the rider more easily, also allowing the rider to feel the movement of the horse in a way that a treed saddle doesn't permit. Not having a rigid tree means that the saddle adjusts itself to fit almost any horse, with nothing more than additional padding. Unlike some treeless saddles, the stirrup bars on the Fhoenix have been designed to permit the use of normal stirrups, although dressage stirrups are recommended for use with this saddle.  Check out my other listings for some barely-used Bates dressage leathers and a gorgeous English leather dressage girth to go with your new saddle!
