Ideal highland and cob saddle, black, approx 10inches d-d, approx inch seat, I had it on my short backed traditional cob. Saddle is in good condition apart from a couple of scratches on the pommel, see photos. Has usual wear from a used saddle, stirrup leather wear, girth straps well used again see photos. I love this saddle it is very very comfy but unfortunately doesn't fit my new horse. Collection only from bradfield. Paypal or cash on collection.

Shows off the shoulder beautifully. In good condition with usual marks from stirrups. Just been stored and had light show ring use and used on a changing shape youngster for a short time. Recent re flock, value and check by master saddler. Has a however a few surface scratches on seat recently as cover left off in tack room so taking this into account for selling price. You are bidding for a 17" Ideal Highland & Cob saddle in havana. This saddle is XXW measuring 20" from d to d ring. Previously used on a wide Highland and fitted her beautifully. Fabulous condition, there is just a very small scratch on the near side stirrup bar flap as shown in photo. Exceptionally comfortable and places you in a lovely position. Thorowgood T8 Cob GP saddle black 17.5" XW/XXW

Brought this saddle for young horse who was growing and changing shape approximately a year and a half ago. Purchased as it was adjustable, but he has now levelled off and I'm buying a dressage saddle as this is the direction we are moving towards. Thorowgood advertise this saddle as a good all-round saddle for the rounder build and the low withered Cob-type horse. It has a medium depth seat is ideal for a range of riding activities and offers 4 girthing options to achieve maximum saddle stability. Synthetic underneath but has a quality leather seat and knee pads and gives the feel of riding on an all leather saddle. It is also flocked with 100% British wool. The saddle current is set with the yellow S bar gullet plate which equates to XW/XXW. I also have the white gullet plate - XW and the red gullet plate - W. The saddle has a small scuff on the pommel (see image), but other than that is in excellent condition. RRP £625 Will post at buyers expense and am open to sensible offers. Read More
