17" BLACK GP SYNTHETIC SADDLE, BRIDLE & ACCESSORIES.  (Ref: 212 R) Saddle is in used condition and does have some wear under the skirts and under 1 saddle flap (see photos).  Also a few small snags on the cantle and pommel (see photos).  But it is still a strong useful very comfortable lightweight saddle.  It measures approximately 9.1/2" from D-Ring to D-Ring and is a medium/narrow fitting.  It comes with a brown leather cob side bridle with stainless steel French link snaffle bit, and a pair of rubber-grip reins.  Also a 42" Cottage Craft brown padded girth (buckles are a little rusty), a pair of 4.3/4" stirrup irons with black treads, a pair of brown stirrup leathers, and a black cotton quilt numnah.  This is a good starter set at a bargain price. Details about   Black Synthetic Thorowgood GP Saddle 17"

A black, synthetic general purpose Thorowgood saddle in good condition. It has suede-effect seat and knee rolls and is very comfortable to ride in. I bought the saddle two years ago to back my youngster in and it's been brilliant, but now he has changed shape, so I'm having to sell it.  It's lightweight and robust and has the usual signs of wear, but is in great working condition. It has a cut back pommel, so great for higher/larger withered horses. It's very easy to maintain - just a quick wipe down with a damp cloth does the job. Both stirrup leather keepers have been lost (see photo), but the flaps are totally fine. All 6 girth straps are in good condition as is the tree. There is only one buckle guard (there was only one when I bought the saddle). It's an ideal saddle for hacking, jumping, flatwork, backing a young horse or for a cold backed horse due to being lightweight. It measures (see photos too): 9" D ring to D ring 5.5' inside below D rings 15.5"cantle to cut back part of pommel 17" cantle to front of pommel 13" across the widest part of the saddle flap Please note, the saddle blanket in the photos is not for sale! Black Wintec Synthetic GP Saddle, 17.5 inch seat, White Gullet Plate

Wintec Saddle Black Wintec Saddle, 17.5 inch, flock panels, and fitted with white gullet plate (extra wide). This saddle, although I’ve owned it for some years, since new, was bought for the purpose of me having a saddle that fitted my driving horse should I want to ride him, (stay on a diet long enough to be light enough to ride...). By the time I wanted to ride, (stopped eating buns for long enough...)he was ready for retirement! Consequently, the saddle has sat in a cupboard for the majority of its life. I would estimate that this saddle hasn’t had more that hours use. My horse was a coloured cob, so there are the usual white hairs stuck to the non-smooth surfaces. The only damage is a tiny little ‘nik’ on the cantle, 3-4mm long, which happened on day 1. Yes, gutted, I know! Please see the photo. Anyway, it's an excellent saddle, in excellent condition and is being wasted whilst not being used. Grab yourself a bargain! £200 Due to the size and weight of a saddle for posting purposes, the best option might be to collect it in person, in which case the winner will be invoiced for £100 via paypal as deposit, the rest to be paid upon collection.
