My parents bought me from a pawn shop for my 15th birthday but I've barely used it and it's just been moving house with me for years. It's a bit of a strange one this. It's a Fender 50th anniversary edition, has the Fender maker's seal on the back and serial number (see photos) but the previous owner stuck an Ibanez plectrum on it for some reason. I cannot think why. There are a few marks and chips to the body, the tremolo bar is missing (easily replaceable), it needs a good clean and strings might need replacing, but overall it's a good learner's guitar. Fender Squier By Fender Showmaster Black Super Strat Electric Guitar Perfect For Beginners

A very reluctant sale of a fantastic example of a Squier by Fender Showmaster guitar. Crafted in Indonesia this now discontinued and getting rarer and more collectible future classic is in fantastic condition for its approx age of 13 years. Differing from other Squier Strats commonly seen this was Squier's answer to the Ibanez/Jackson/ESP etc Super Strats. It features a very nice 2 point tremolo and instead of three single coil pickups you get a humbucker at the bridge for extra grunt. A lovely tonal range all changeable with the 5 way switch, 1 volume and 1 tone control. A very nice and my favorite feature natural wood Reverse Headstock completes the Hendrix/rock/metal/shred look. The body is believed to be Alder and is black with a tasteful metallic sparkle throughout. There are a couple of minor knocks/scuffs but not really noticeable and to be expected on a guitar of this age. The bolt on Maple neck is a thin C shape/profile measuring approx 40mm at the nut. It features a Rosewood fretboard with 21 frets. Built to be played fast the guitar is fitted with new Ernie Ball Super Slinky's (09's) There are many positive reviews about this guitar online and it will be a superb guitar for beginner's and beyond. The strat is in great condition because it was looked after, and hardly used, by a relative before it came to me, and I’ve looked after it since. The neck has been regularly lemon-oiled and it has new strings. The guitar has a good low action along the length of the neck, and it doesn’t wander out of tune - something you often don’t find out until it’s too late. It also has a nice tone when played unplugged. It has a pearl 3 ply scratch plate and I have the original white scratch plate if you want and there is also a free strap. It's a fantastic quality set to start you off playing the guitar. Very Hank Marvin. I've upgraded the pickups to handwound versions (traditional neck and middle and overwound bridge) and it sounds like a good strat should. Great for rock, blues, funk and country. Fender Stratocaster Strat Black and White Electric Guitar I have owned this guitar from new, it was my first guitar and is about 15 years old. I haven't played this guitar for several years so it will require a new set of strings. There is absolutely no damage to the guitar just normal wear and tear such as belt buckle scratches, and the pickguard has aged yellow. Also the input jack bolt is missing meaning the jack has fallen inside, it simply requires a new bolt to hold it through the input guard and the wires reconnecting. Once it is reconnected it plays great for a beginner guitar. It would make an ideal first guitar and an ideal christmas present.
