Lovely Shetland x Connemara black gelding, 3 year old, for

He is only being used as a companion, so is being wasted and he is too much for my old horses. He loves being groomed, loves attention, very good to be handled, feet etc. You do something with him twice and then he just seems to accept it. He has been lunged, but just have not had the time for him. He is wormed, feet done once a month and up to date with tetanus injections. He lives in or out, very good in a stable. Good doer. I need a quieter, older pony.

He has also been shown in-hand. Clean limbed and no blemishes. No vices or medical issues such as sweet itch or laminitis, lives in or out. Travels very quietly in lorry and trailer. He is showing such huge potential and could go very far with the right rider. Great to ride out with other horses or on own. Very used to farm machinery, traffic, and is good in open spaces. Schools either as an individual or in a group, no questions asked. Dream second pony and is also perfect on the lead rein for any size jockey, off the lead rein he can be forward going but with good brakes. Super to groom, lead out and care for. This is a very reluctant sale of a much loved pony. Spencer is 3 years old and currently standing at hh although he still has some growing to do and is expected to make around hh. He has 2 blue eyes, lovely markings and lots of feather. We have owned spencer for a year now and he has never put a foot wrong, he has a great character and lots of potential. He is good to catch and lead. He accepts a bit and roller and has started long reining, he has also had a saddle on with no issues. He is very friendly and loves a fuss. He will stand to be groomed, picks all 4 feet up and is good for the farrier. The only reason spencer is looking for a new home is that he is ready to progress with his education now and I don't think I can do him justice, I think he would benefit from an owner who has more experience and confidence than myself.
