The chairs have been finished in various beautiful pastel chalk paints to create a lovely effect, and the table base is in French Linen chalk paint, with the top sanded and stencilled with a heart to perfect the love theme. The chairs are in Annie Sloan Provence, Annie Sloan Old Violet, Rust-oleum Lilac Wine and Rust-oleum Duck Egg - all beautiful chalk paints. This table is made from scaffold boards which have been sanded down and stained and finished in beeswax. The base of the table is industrial look with steel legs that have adjustable feet. The legs comes off the table for transporting it. The frame of the table is attached to the underneath of the table. The table top is made out of reclaimed materials which will show signs of wear and tear and may be uneven in places, which, in my opinion, rings out the beauty and character of the wood and gives each piece of furniture a unique appearance, TWO bistro style chairs originally from John Lewis. The top has been sanded back to remove old varnish and scratches, then given a rustic pine waxed finish (Briwax) The chairs and table base have been rubbed down and painted with 'shortbread' creamy white satin furniture paint. This finish is great for wiping clean. Some spare paint is available for any future touch ups due to knocks etc that may occur. Hand painted finish, so some brush marks and the odd drip etc may be visable. There a 3 chairs of one design and 1 chair ever so slightly different, but they look great together.
