Mothercare brand baby back carrier with frame. Integral harness for baby and waist and chest straps for the adult carrying. It has a detachable small rucksack (pictured lying on the large padded changing mat which also come with the carrier and can be folded neatly away into the reasonable size storage area under the baby seat. You can access this area even when the baby is in the carrier so can store drinks etc. in there. We have enjoyed using this to walk with our children whenever we didn't want to take a pushchair. Original Karrimor of Accrington Alpiniste Rucksack. "Tall" back size - would suit adult males. Made in the UK long before Karrimor went bust and were sold to SportsDirect. Slightly later edition than the original purple alpiniste - this one uses a mix of canvas and ripstop fabric to decrease the overall weight slightly. Multiple features including: Side compression straps and wand pockets Inner and outer lid pockets Wand pockets Foam sit-mat Lid accessory straps Hip and chest straps Twin ice-axe straps Under-lid rope strap Original Karrimor multicoloured drawcords, and branded buckles. Although it is in great condition for its age, there is some delamination of the inside of the ripstop patches, including under the lid and in the main compartment. This makes no difference to the function of the material, but it is a sign of use. There are also some dirt marks on the outside of the rucksack - I've tried to show these in the pictures above.
