Screws into the pre-threaded holes behind the vehicle rear bumper and electric connector plugs into the socket beneath the rear of the vehicle. Bike rack that is specifically designed for the Mini with preparation pack which is easy to attach onto back of car (check that the two holes are already there, they have small plastic caps over them). Lockable to car and also bikes can be locked to rack. I have been using this on my 10 plate soft top Mini Cooper but have recently sold this.
