This is a brand new BETA approved body protector for horse riding. It is suitable for small to medium size adults and some teenagers. It comes complete with fitting and care instructions and the BETA label. It is level 3 which provides a level of protection that has been tested and approved by a Cambridge laboratory to the European Standard EN LEVEL 3. It is made of perforated foam which increases breathability and should keep it cool. It is machine washable and instructions are provided for that. There are many velcro adjustments to make it just the right fit. I have also pictured the waistline where the red and black sections of the velcro tell you when it is safe to wear it over thicker clothing. In the Winter you can of course wear your warm jacket over the top. Before you decide to buy this and go on some lovely adventurous riding on your horse, please make sure you comply with the fitting instructions provided with this protector, They are pictured above, but for your convenience I have listed them below: 1. Measure around the fullest part of your chest, whilst wearing the light clothes you normally wear whilst riding. The measurement should be between 92 and 102 centimetres ( inches). 2. Measure your waist whilst wearing the light clothes you normally wear whilst riding. The measurement should be between 80 and 90 centimetres ( inches). 3. Measure from the front of your waistband, up over your shoulder and back to your waistband in the back. Just like braces would go if you had them on your trousers. This measurement should be between 85 and 95 centimetres ( inches). Remember that the measurements don't have to take into account the thicker clothing you wear in Winter, you just wear them on top. A good body fit is more important and should keep you safe. The only reason I am selling it is because shortly after buying it I discovered I was pregnant! You are welcome to come to collect the item from Market Harborough, just South of Leicester, off Junction 20 on the M1. I am really flexible on collection times. Cash on collection is welcome, as is Paypal. This item comes from a pet and smoke free home. Returns are welcome at the buyer's expense as usual.
