This Bareback pad was used on several occasions to get my youngster accustomed to having a girth in situ.  I used the Bareback simply to sit on the youngster and nothing more and she was not at all worried about the experience.  It is much lighter than a saddle and has no stirrups and was used to give my youngster a feel of things to come using a saddle. This bareback pad is beautifully made and super soft for horse and rider and the underneath is soft rubber so didn't slip.  The bareback pad has two thick straps either side which measure 21" in length each  The girth itself measures 25" from buckle to buckle in length The widest part of the bareback pad is 32" across the wither area. It should therefore fit a range of horses. No longer required as it has done what is was intended for. Excellent, clean condition labels still attached.

Complete pony pad with stirrups, leathers and girth. Made of very thick sturdy felt. The girth has had an inset of elastic fitted some time ago, which is strong and helps to girth up tightly. A surcingle could also be used around the saddle for extra security as I always would advise to use as a safety precaution to stop the saddle slipping around on a chubby pony like a Shetland. The girth and leather strap holes and stitching are still good. Has had a lot of use, but still a handy throw on saddle for ponies, especially good for breaking in a pony that is a bit cold backed, as it is very comfortable on their back.

My heart has been missing our beloved rescue dog, I still step over him at night but he isn't their ??..... he was pts at the age of 14 a doby!!.... I like to hope their is someone who is in a difficult position and need to rehome a belove dog. I used to rescue rotts but my boy was in a bad place so I saved him ashe was going to be used as a travellers security dog!!!! He was too beautiful !!!' So I took him....... I was brought up with German shepherds. 8 was the most we had!!! I would just like one dog to add to my family don't mind cross breeds, just like big dogs !! I have a 3 year old daughter so must be good with children. Any other issues I am capable to deal with. I have horses so they won't be stuck in all day at all!
