YAMAHA G2 Grand Piano. High-gloss ebony black. Like new.

New, at today's prices, this Yamaha G2 grand would cost the equivalent of more than £. It is a seriously good piano. The G2 grand is from the top of the Yamaha G series and is recognised worldwide as being one of the finest pianos in its class. It is 5'8" long (172 cm). Finished in stunning high-gloss black, it is a lovely instrument and a fine piece of furniture. There is no damage anywhere and it would not look out of place in a showroom. The inside and the keys are immaculate. I could describe its medium touch and powerful Yamaha medium to bright tone and how it is clear and powerful in the base and bell-like in the treble and that the action is precise and clean but I would urge anyone interested in buying it to come and judge it for themselves. Yamaha pianos are played by the some of the best players in the world. In every way, this is a professional instrument. The cost of delivery would depend upon how far it would have to be transported but if the buyer was not too far away, the cost would be included. It's a very good piano at a very good price. David

We have replaced all the heavy duty bolts for the legs and pedal section and have re-threaded in the areas where there was wear from the old original bolts. The new bolts give the very large legs greater stability and strength for ease of movement in a Concert Hall. The strings, pins, bridges, soundboard and crown are all in perfect condition with minimal wear. The hammer heads were replaced at some point in recent history and action felts replaced. This piano has a nice lyrical tone, not typical of an acoustic grand. It is full, rounded, with a soft brightness in the mid and high range and a strong clear rich and potent bass due to the massive bass strings. I am pleased to offer for sale my SUPERB Kawai Grand 5'10" which is in near immaculate condition. It is available for viewing in my home in Scarborough North Yorkshire. This is a studio/concert quality instrument with an exceptional deep bass and sumptuous beauty of tone. The powerful range of dynamics and control of expression would be best experienced when playing/being demonstrated. I acquired it 10 years ago in completely original and UNUSED condition. Even still had fluff on the hammer felts. Expertly maintained, finely regulated and tuned, it has a very reliable action. The tuning is extraordinarily stable. This is a very solid, precision Japanese built piano to last and in my opinion superior to most Yamahas and new Kawai of similar size/one size up.
