CHIC FREE STANDING KITCHEN BENCH BAKERS BENCH TABLE Thank you for visiting this auction for this beautiful part-vintage part-reclaimed-&-upcyled Industrial-mill-style kitchen (or other use) baker style bench table. This is part original distressed paintwork (as–this-came-to-us so we assume the original) finish and part distress painted to match the original. The legs and aprons (undersides of the top) and sides are the original paint (with a lovely big smudge of a bright green don’t know how that got there, kids perhaps) and the back slats are stained and painted in Farrow Studio Green with smudges of F & B Cromarty, F & B Cooks Blue & F & B Drop Cloth to achieve the same effect as the smudges on the original paint. We will paint this another colour if you prefer as it would look stunning in most other colours eg. black, french grey. This would cost a little extra. Any way there is a pic of it as it came to us (except for the reclaimed plank top which we made) so you can see we have changed it, (we think for the better) We have put two lovely reclaimed metal corner brackets on mainly because we liked the idea of them. The top is stained in a medium oak, oiled and then even waxed. This would look great with wire baskets or wooden storage boxes on the base or simply stack your wares. We were going to put s type hooks for hanging things over the back slats but have left this to the buyer as there are many to choose from and didn’t know what kind the buyer would prefer. There are however some hooks under the top so pans can hang down.
