hh welsh section d, Liver chestnut mare with flexen mane and tail, 6 years old up for sale through no fault of her own. She is good to catch, vet, farrier and box. She has been lightly backed and is currently being school so is green at the moment. Has hacked out alone and in company across open field and didn't put a hoof wrong. She is not a novice ride as can be quiet strong so will need a confident teenager or adult. She is really good in and out of the stable but about a 6 months ago she got diagnosed with gastric ulcers but after medication she has had the all clear around 3 months ago. Welsh section D 10yr old mare for sale or possible lease to the right home.15.2 I have owned this mare since a 3yr old and broke her myself so this is a very hard decision but she is currently wasted at present and I feel she is too good to sit in a field any longer. She was lightly but very successfully shown as a 4/5 year old after which I became pregnant and she then bred me two beautiful dun colts. One of which we retained. She is a big mover,is very well schooled and a push button ride and even after not being ridden for 2 years she is still foot perfect, she has a kind loving temperament and is good to do in all ways. I feel she is still young enough to go on and win under saddle or would even be a valuable broodmare for someone. 5 star Home is very important to me as she is very much loved. Registered section D 13:3hh 4yr bay mare project pony Very pretty and genuine mare, broken this summer and riding away ready to further her education. She hacks out alone and in company, fab in traffic as she lives on a farm so big machines not an issue. Jumping a small course of jumps, barrels, blocks, logs never stops and enjoys it, plenty of scope to go bigger, working in a nice outline and really aims to please. Can ride her in big open spaces at the speed you want, she never attempts to buck or rear, you can just ask her to go up the gears or down and she politely obliges and doesn't hot up. (I have taken on the gallops with nutty pointers and she really was a saint!!) excellent to load, shoe and amazing to clip, just stood there enjoying it. She can be nervous in the stable, really needs more fuss and attention on a one to one basis to build a relationship, however we have done everything with her without any major issues. Not a novice ride due to age and she's green, but a real sweet pony, a great project for a teenager/small adult.
