Hi, for sale is a brooks professional leather saddle. From researching these saddles i have discovered that they were first produced in and were the top saddle produced by brooks using the best leather. This was a race style low profile saddle. It is one of the earlier designs as later designs had more leather over the nose. It is used and over 40 years old so it has marks and some scratches. I have recently added proofhide to it. Included in the sale is a brooks maintenance kit. This includes an unused brooks saddle spanner and an unused brooks cloth. Also is a tin of brooks proofide. This has been treated with Brooks Proofide since new and is in lovely condition apart from the usual small marks on the rear corners where the bike was occasionally leant against a wall. Brooks Colt Vintage Leather Saddle (for bike) Hardly used.

This saddle came on a bike that my dad had bought years ago (s I think) but it's hardly been used as you can see from the photos. It's been kept in the garage. No rain or UV damage. The leather isn't stretched. In fact it hasn't even been broken in. There is one slight scratch on the right side of the nose that can be seen on one of the photos. I'm based in Hope Valley, Derbyshire but I can post if necessary.
