Cast iron bath with antique taps, white, needs a good clean as there are stains and water marks, (can include free, white tiles with black edging and soap inset as shown in pics), toilet and cistern all clean and working, seat needs paint or replacing, basin and pedestal with nearly new taps, all working, Sale due to upgrade of bathroom, ideal for period or rental property, can sell separate,£80 for the lot, feel free to phone (after 12 pm or text anytime for questions

Antique filler bath taps and 2 gold plated basin pillar taps

The set of antique Metropolitan Water Board bath filler taps with shower head is embossed with "MWB". The taps have just come off our functioning bath. A new washer on the hot water tap has just been fitted. The tap centres are adjustable but were fitted with a 185 mm gap and the tap base plates are 55mm in diameter. The height (from the top of the bath to the top of the shower head) is 290mm. The depth from front to back is 165mm. The weight is 4 kg. The gold plated basin filler taps were apparently designed by Barber Wilson for C P Hart and come from our functioning bathroom basin. A new washer has just been fitted to the cold tap. The height (from the top of the basin to the top of the taps) is 125mm and the depth (from front to back) is also 125mm. The weight of both taps together is 1.1 kg. We replaced all these taps because we decided to change the colour of the bathroom. Marks and lime scale are commensurate with age. Read More

Arraiolos is a town, located approximately at the centre of Portugal, right behind Lisbon.The inhabitants have been making embroidered carpets since the Middle Ages. These were not knotted, but made using a needle on a weave that was made beforehand. Originally these carpets were made by Moorish craftswomen. But in the 16th century, they were threatened, killed and driven away by Christian fundamentalists, just like the Jews. From this period onward, the carpets were made by converted Moors and Christians. Can be divided in three groups, according to style. 1. Inspired by Persian carpets, up to the 19th century. 2.
