Antique French Iron child's bed /daybed

76cm wide (ie: quite narrow, but I can sleep on it ok) 180 cm long The perfect authentic French day bed. Collapses flat to transport. Original paint – chipped etc. I bought from an antiques dealer for about £300 and the mattress was made especially for it (about £250) and is in good condition. It has to be collected from my house in Stoke Newington. It folds to flat, which makes it easy to transport but is too long for most cars. It is heavy. Cushions and quilt in first photo not included. This beautiful original French corner sofa travelled with us from Provence and came from a French Chateaux. It is old and must be handled with care, the arm rest is delicate and there are markings on the fabric in line with its age. The measurements are 247cm length x 130 on the corner length, height 83, the seat is 63 deep and 52 high. It sits 4+ comfortably. The frame is wood and rattan painted a distressed mid-grey. The fabric is a soft velvet/linen in natural linen colour. The trim is a beautiful chunky cord. Original Victorian cast iron fireplace with beautiful floral detail and all original pieces.

Much loved fireplace, which although is technically a Victorian bedroom fireplace was in our lounge. Always got lots of compliments from visitors and much appreciated in the winter months.
