SADLER Teapot - "Oliver Twist" - Charles Dickens-very good
This beautifully designed collectors teapot is one of 3 that were donated to our charity after a bereavement (see my other items) and is in very good condition with no chips or cracks but has very slight crazing underneath although it is not obvious until close inspection It is one of SADLER'S beautiful collectors teapots and is titled "Oliver Twist by Charles Dickens - It has a picture of pick-pocketing in progress and has the same picture on both sides with a verse about it on the base (see picture) and pictures of Dickens on the lid. It is oval in shape and measures approximately 6.5 inches (16.5 cm) in height and measures 7.5 inches (19 cm) from the spout to the handle.
