Her mum was pure frizzle and her dad was half pekin and half marans columbine cross. This means she may lay a blue or green egg (about 20% chance). Hybrids lay more than pure breeds and she should lay minimum 280 eggs ayear. All my hens are incubator hatched and hand reared so are very human friendly. I only hatch a few batches a year so give them individual care and attention. They are wormed and treated for lice every six months. Can anyone offer a home to this sad and lonely one year old cockerel? I have had many attempts to 'set him up' with a suitable mate but each one beats him up and pulls his tail feathers out!! He is now confined to his run for his own safety. He is desperate for love but I think his amorous attempts are a bit too enthusiastic. Selling due to complaining neighbours. Kevin is a very handsome, sweet boy looking for good home. He's gentle and will take good care of any hens he may be kept with. This is a sad sell for me as I wouldn't get rid of him if it wasn't for the complaints. He's given great fertility rates also. You may have noticed the lack of feathers around his neck, this is due to the crow collar we've had to put on him, but I don't like it, this is another reason for selling.
