Beautiful pair of black cheeked lovebirds

Unrelated pair of lovebirds. Not DNA proven but believed to be male and female. I was hoping to put them together as a breeding pair but the male already has a close bond with my female conure who is bullying the little blue baby. Separate cages have resulted in absolute noisy pandemonium so they are currently free flying in the same room. So worried that 1 day I'll find a seriously injured or dead bird but i haven't the room to keep them separately. I've been left with no alternative but to find a new home for at least the blue bird (Sky) but feel she'd settle better if Marley went with her. They've tried to get close and snuggly but my conure wont have it and its the baby that gets left to perch alone ?? I've put a price of £50 but will negotiate on this as a good home is more important. Neither are tame but the potential is definitely there once they're not living with a hand phobic conure! I'll be very sad to see them go but it's purely for the safety of Sky. Read more

Black cheeked lovebirds (AVIARY HOMES ONLY)

I am reluctantly rehoming my two male black cheeked lovebirds in hope to find them a more suitable home Their ages are unknown but I have had them for around 5 years. They are DNA sexed as male but are very much so bonded and will not be separated They are very peaceful and quiet for lovebirds and a rather small species. They aren't to be mistaken for black masked lovebirds, you won't see these guys too often. They are eating a high quality parakeet seed mix and fresh foods daily. They enjoy having regular baths and demolishing whatever toys they are given Unfortunately one of the two lads started plucking when he was moved into a cage after my aviary had to be taken down. Recently I put them into another flight but once I needed it again I had moved them back into the cage and he started again. It is essential that these guys go into an aviary with enrichment.
