Sadly, due to a change in my circumstances, I need to find a new home for Suzie. She is five years old and I adopted her from the SSPCA three years ago. She was very nervous when I got her but has really settled in, which is why I am so sad I can't keep her. She loves exploring outside so would need a home where, ideally, she has a cat flap so she can come and go as she pleases. She is completely house trained but would need a litter tray for the first week or so, before she can go outside, so she understands this is her new home. She is very gentle, enjoys being stroked and cuddling up beside you. She is not overly happy being picked up, but will put up with it if you bribe her with a treat. She is happy being brushed and will walk up and down, leaning against the brush, to make sure you don't miss anywhere. She will come with her carrier, bed, scratching post, radiator bed, water fountain, bowls, brushes and toys. It's probably best that you don't live in Ayr in case she decides to find her way back here. She has been neutered and chipped. Suzie would prefer to be an only pet in a family with no small children. I will donate the £40 I am asking for her to the SSPCA. Due to the relationship between my cat and dog breaking down we're looking to rehome the cat. The dog is elderly with health problems so would be very difficult to rehome. The cat is a female 4 year old rag doll cross who has been vaccinated and has vaccines for life at white cross vets so you've no yearly cost for jabs. She is an indoor cat who is timid but friendly once confident. She loves my husband and regularly lays on his lap. She is neutered and clean with her litter box. She is also good with her scratching posts and has never damaged any furniture. She is a housecat by her own choosing but she will have a wander into the garden if the door is left open. She has had regular check ups and flea/worming and is in perfect health. She'd make a perfect companion and loves attention. Her ideal home would be somebody who is home a lot without young children.
