Beautiful handmade Persian carpet

An antique hand knotted woolen carpet which we are reluctantly selling as we have moved and it is too big for our living room.It was a wedding gift in the seventies from the Kalaty family company. It has been in a pet and smoke free house since then. There are very small signs of wear which are largely unnoticeable. Any dark areas on the photos are because of the pile direction.
