I have bought a new bed so my beautiful French Bed is available free! (except I will ask that the collector makes a donation to the Samaritan's). The bed cost over £ new The bed is king size and is the frame only i.e. no mattress. The bed is in excellent condition except for the bolts holding the bed together which have stripped - hence the collector will need to also dismantle the bed themselves (I have no idea how to do this myself). The base is slatted with a supporting arm and comes in 3 pieces - the base, headboard and base board. It is heavy and would require two people to carry it.
