This extending dining table and 4 beautifully carved chairs have been painted in Annie Sloan's old white chalk paint. The finish has been slightly distressed to give it the popular shabby chic look and then protected with clear wax. The table top sits on a single solid carved base with metal claw feet. When the top is closed its round and quite small so perfect for smaller spaces but can be extended to seat 6 on special occasions. The 4 chairs have been upholstered in a black and white Aquitaine floral print and finished with a black trim. As with any re furbished piece it has picked up the odd knock along the way but this only lends itself to a more authentic shabby chic feel. The table and chairs are good and sturdy with many more years of use. I am offering this on a collection basis only but i am able to get a quote from a courier. Hi. This is a solid Elm Vintage Ercol dining table, the top has been part sanded and waxed leaving an aged look and the bottom finished in Annie Sloan French Linen Grey and slightly distressed. Ercol are one of this country's finest vintage furniture makers. FREE DELIVERY within 48hrs of purchase (maybe 72hrs if purchased 23rd-25th) in the Ribble Valley, Preston or Lancaster areas with delivery at £20 to the rest of Lancashire! This is an absolutely stunning solid elm piece with the swirls of the grain on the top clearly visible, and the light grey chalk painted base giving it a cool & elegant 'shabby chic' look. Both table legs and chairs painted in country cream, I have a little for touching up a few scrapes that I meant to sort but didn't for one reason or another, I have a small amount of paint and a brush to throw in too.
