Piano for sale - Baldwin Monarch Compact Upright. Good Condition.

This is a good working piano that was used throughout our son's tuition. It's an American Baldwin Monarch modern compact upright that we've had it about 12 years and it was tuned regularly until a couple of years ago. Beautiful Compact Piano

This is a rare art deco style Amylette overstrung Piano, with a walnut finish. It is also a 'compact' piano, meaning it can fit into smaller spaces than a typical upright piano, and is a lot easier to move (generally only two movers required). These Amylette pianos are most likely early 20th Century, between the world wars; although I don't have an exact production date. All the keys are in full working order, and the piano has a nice tone considering its age; however the sustain pedal is not very effective on the lowest couple of octaves, and the soft pedal does not have much effect overall. The bodywork is overall in good condition. This is a gorgeous little thing which I have really enjoyed playing, and I would recommend it for casual players or learners up to Grade 6. It will definitely need tuning around 4-6 weeks after moving, but then it should be good to go. Buyer will need to arrange their own collection and moving, however I can be flexible with regards to date and time.
