Alfie is a 14.2hh 17 year old beautiful rescue cob. When I rescued Alfie he came to me in quite a state, with untreated lice and mites, sharp teeth, matted fur and mud fever that had been left for so long he now has lumps and bumby skin up his legs which he is still having cream applied for. He is now back to being a healthy boy who is full of beans! He sadly has arthritis in all four legs, but my vet and trimmer have both passed him for light ridden work. Looking for someone to come up and give him fuss and attention and hack him out lightly either around our farm or down the bridle paths. There are plenty of people who can join you for hacks too if you would rather not go alone! I also have two other beautiful cobs (pictured) in full work that are available to ride for £10 per time if you fancy a proper ride out at any point. 14hh Cob X gelding - PC pony, mother daughter share in

For sale through no fault of his own is my 14hh cob x gelding. I bought bobby as a yearling and he is now 8 years old. He has been produced at home but sadly through lack of time and interest has been turned away for the last 12 months. He is to be sold from the field so will make a fantastic project for somebody. Bobby when left natural presents as a brilliant native breed. Through more recent years he has been clipped and hogged. He is a nice quick little pony with a nice little pop who will do most of his work off voice commands alone. He is not a novice ride as he can be a bit strong but would make a fantastic second pony or a PC pony. He hasn't done a lot in terms of showing as has been predominantly used as a happy hack. He is a good low mileage project. He is good to shoe, clip, load etc although he does prefer to travel in company. He has hacked alone in the past but his confidence will need bringing on as he can still be rather green. He will happily live out all year round or will be stabled. He is a good doer so is a nice cheap chap to keep. Any potential buyer is welcome to come and view him but as he is being sold from the field, riding him may not be possible. He has such potential to be a fantastic mother daughter share and he is sadly wasted with me. Any potential home will be vetted as a loving home is my priority. No set days, no yard/stable chores, come up once a week or every day, completely up to you! I am looking for someone who is into natural horsemanship (like me) is patience, kind but confident and experienced with horses. You also need to be lightweight (under around 11stone) due to Sonnys age. About Sonny: Sonny is a rising 4 year old big cuddly doofus! He is a real sweet heart and doesn't have a bad bone in his body. He is barefoot and bitless, and lives out 24/7 on my tack system livery (Abbotts View Livery: Barefoot and Back to Nature). He is excellent on the ground to have his feet done, be tacked up, be groomed, stand for the equine podiatrist, vet etc. He was lightly backed this summer and is riding away nicely. Has just learnt to trot with a rider and always tries despite his lack of balance! He is certainly more 'woah' than go, and due to his age I don't want him doing any more than going out for little walking hacks with the odd trot, or plodding about the fields. Striker is a 15hh Connemara Gelding. He is an absolute gentleman on the ground and being ridden. He excels in all 3 disciplines, goes in a lovely outline and loves to jump. He is great to hack both alone and in company, is very quiet on the road and is never strong or silly. I have taken him to many sponsored rides which he loves such as RAF Halton and Waddesdon Sponsored ride. He is forward going and does what is asked of him, he does need to be ridden properly as he is sensitive and I wouldn't be looking for a novice or inexperienced rider. He never gets over excited, I could take him out the field after weeks and he would be exactly the same. I currently have a lovely sharer. I am going travelling in December and as a result am looking for another sharer to ride him on the days when the other cannot. I would prefer for them to be 18+ unless they are a confident rider and someone who is not just looking for a happy hacker. 15.1hh Gelding available for share near Burton on Trent I am looking for a sharer for my 20 year old gelding called Billy. He is not a novice ride. He lives out with my other pony, is good to groom and handle. To ride he is mostly lazy but does spook and can buck when excitable. He is just coming back into work after having the winter off, we do not have a ménage but do have a round pen and field to ride in which is rideable 3/4 of the year. Hacking is also available.
