13.2 fun pony Good home essential. 11yr old Chestnut mare Currently a happy, very forward-going, hacker Would potentially do anything Kind nature. Currently living out but would also live in. Easy doer. Fully wormed and shod. Full passport. This lovely mare has been used as a trekking pony with us since she was backed so she hasn't done a lot of formal schooling. The basics are all there and she's a very easy ride. Snaffle mouth. She is a sad sale as we are reducing our stock and am confident she would suit a teenager/small adult and would be bags of fun. She's very nippy to ride with full breaks. Due to our location she hasn't had a lot of experience on roads but on crossing roads/riding down country lanes she is great. Shes also used to riding on the beach and in water. She's doesn't nap and is not one to shy /spook easily but she does like to look at things. She hasn't done a lot of of work over the past few months but is good shape. Viewing welcome and trial ride. At present we don't have a school but plenty of routes to try a hack. Through no fault of her own i have the heartbreaking decision to sell my lovely mare. I have had her for 3 years purchased after a short time racing (too slow). She is good with farrier, clipping, loads in trailer and generally a lovely mare to be around. I hack alone and in company although she can be spooky, more so when she is on her own so not a novice ride.This is usually at moving things such as deer or a dog running at her. She has been good on the road and used to tractors. i have competed at low level dressage walk and trot and some pre-lim. Canter in an arena needs working on as she needs to soften and develop from behind rather than the forward going of a racehorse. I have put her over a jump and she loved this but she needs someone with confidence to develop this further. It is with a heavy heart that I advertise this sweet horse. I have owned her since 3months old she is now 7 rising 8 in August. She is a sweet horse with 3 balanced paces however over the last 3 years has had an easy life owing to uni commitments. She's snaffle mouthed at all times and loves hacking and farm rides, she has also turned a hoof to some unaffiliated dressage which she showed great promise. Rapunzal is a year old,beautiful cob mare with lots of feather and forelock. She was mis-sold to us and we have spent alot of time building her confidence and weight up as she was terribly underweight when she arrived although we done this slowly it became apparent that she has laminitis, we have controlled this and she is now ok, but she has a diet of just hay, chaff and a laminitis friendly mix and she seems to better out grazing, so although her overall condition has massively improved I would say a little bit more weight gain wouldn't hurt. She as sold as a ride and drive, but due to the obvious we haven't done a lot with her, just confidence building, pampering she has had a saddle and bridle on. Unfortunately my family's circumstances has changed and we need to cut back. We feel she would be a great companion/project for somebody who has time to put into her.
