Due to the relationship between my cat and dog breaking down we're looking to rehome the cat. The dog is elderly with health problems so would be very difficult to rehome. The cat is a female 4 year old rag doll cross who has been vaccinated and has vaccines for life at white cross vets so you've no yearly cost for jabs. She is an indoor cat who is timid but friendly once confident. She loves my husband and regularly lays on his lap. She is neutered and clean with her litter box. She is also good with her scratching posts and has never damaged any furniture. She is a housecat by her own choosing but she will have a wander into the garden if the door is left open. She has had regular check ups and flea/worming and is in perfect health. She'd make a perfect companion and loves attention. Her ideal home would be somebody who is home a lot without young children. Hello everyone, This is Emily... And Emily has a sad story to tell. I am a member of staff at a care home in stroud and a few months ago we started to see this little black beauty. She spent a lot of time in our large garden and never seemed to leave it's. She was a very scared little girl and would often hiss at us and run away it anyone got close to her. It became quite clear to us that she didn't have a home and we thought she may have been feral so good in our nature as carers are we all bought her some food and began to make her life a little more comfortable as she wouldn't come inside the house and was sleeping out in the cold. Over the last few months she has become very very friendly and has grown a bond and began to trust us. She would even come and sit on our laps for a cuddle outside! However we took the time to take her to the vets and it turned out that she was chipped.. The vets rang her owners and they said that they had a dog now and so didn't want her after all.. She had been missing for two years and her real name was Primrose! This made us all very sad and I decided to take her on as I just couldn't bare to see her go to a rescue centre with all the other long term rescued black cats. We have called her Emily and she has had a vet check and her first vaccination along with a flea and worm treatment and is currently living with me but away from my other pets. Unfortunately my situation has changed in the last few days so I will not be able to keep Emily as I wished to. Therefore we are now in search for Emily's forever home. She is a lovely little 5 year old beauty and will settle in very well. She may just need a little bit of love and affection to gain her trust and then she won't ever let you go...
