She has been schooled, ridden and trained in Dressage to a high standard by a renowned and very successful Dressage Coach. She has regularly scored in the mid 70's when competing at Prelim Level and is ready to be taken further. Her rider did not have the ability or interest in taking her further, also we are looking to relocate, thus we are selling our Horses. Although we are selling her we have been contacted by a very experienced Dressage rider who is looking to ride her and take her forward. She would also excel in ROR. We are looking for a 5* home, where her abilities will be built upon as she has the scope to go much further in Dressage. In addition to her abilities she is probably the best looking thoroughbred we have ever seen. Penny is an 8 year old TB mare. My daughter bought her in February this year after falling in love with her at first sight. The lady who we bought her from knew nothing about her past (strange) & said that she had done nothing with her? We have since found out that she spent 2 months in a race yard but she wasn't fast enough. She is a sweetheart - loving & kind. Can be mare-ish but hasn't a nasty bone in her body. She has become very attached to our other 2 ponies (2 old mares 20+ years each!!). She had a nasty accident 2 weeks after she came to us, involving barbed wire. 8 weeks of box rest & some scars on her back legs but no lasting damage and sound. Recently some con artist tried to buy her - lied about what they wanted to do with her, came to collect her, didn't tie her up on the lorry & she subsequently panicked & got herself stuck underneath the divider. Has competed in many dressage, showjumping and hunter trial competitions having numerous results and placings. Has competed BE eventing and showed great potential finishing with a respectable dressage score and clear through both jumping phases. Chico has also hunted for the last two seasons and was a fun and safe ride for the full day. He's great with the hounds and will ride and lead. Unfortunately, I no longer have the time to exercise and compete this wonderful horse and don't want to see him going to waste.
