Riley is a 9 year old, 16hh, TB gelding. Riley is for sale through no fault of his own, I don't have the time or facilities to let him reach his true potential. Also I have fallen out of love with the sport and feel Riley is being wasted stuck in the field. Riley is the most kind and loving horse you could wish to meet and has his own little personality which you can't help but fall in love with. Over the 3 years I have owned Riley, he has competed locally in all disciplines and has always been in the ribbons. He holds a lovely natural outline and often places first in ridden classes, with judges always praising his beauty and elegant style. Riley loves to jump. He has competed up to 1m locally with me, with scope to go much higher. He is very bold and brave when it comes to jumping which makes him a good XC ride. Riley is good in traffic and will hack out alone or in company, he can go at the front or back but prefers to be at the front. Riley is not a novice ride however he is sensible and sane and will ride like a dream for an experienced and confident rider. He has been out of work for a few months which is reflected in the price. However a week of riding and he will be back up to his normal standard. I will be starting to bring him back into work over the summer and this will then be reflected in the price. Riley would suit a confident, competitive adult rider. He is great with the farrier, vet, dentist and fine being wormed. He is also easy to catch and load. Ray is fully vaccinated passport.recently had back checked and had teeth done in November. Iv had ray since August . I brought him to go out and compete but his only fault is loading iv spent hours practicing to the point he goes on on his own.i took him over cannock chase and he was a star i came to put him on a week later back to square one he is not intrested he travels great it just getting on. I have been told he loads better on a trailer but I'm not in a position to just buy a trailer or a towing vehicle.If I didn't have the other 2 I would keep him and get another one to compete. He hacks alone or in company I do find him better on his own or with a sensible horse or horses. As a girls pony bolted home and he just jogged.he's Great in open fields. 16hh flashy bay gelding 7 yrs old, perfect gentleman, fab on the ground and loves fuss and attention, he hacks alone or company, I wouldn't class him as a first horse so he wouldn't suit a nervous novice rider, but would excell as a riding club horse, show jumping etc he really enjoys fun rides and is safe a confident rider will snap this young man up! He's won over hurdles and second over fences, has a very natural athletic jump. He's a forward going but sensible ride, I took him to jersey and hacked him alone 2 miles to the beach and on the beach and he was foot perfect. Harry isn't your typical thoroughbred ! He is very calm and sedate and just wants to be your best friend. He raced 3 times (goodness knows how!) lol Harry was bought for my partner to ride but he has now got into motorbikes and Harry is being totally wasted.
