  15.5" Native pony show Saddle (not Fylde)

This is a virtually unused 15.5 inch Medium/Wide saddle (8.5inches between D rings) superb English leather saddle made in Somerset by Rich and Sons, ideal for hacking or showing. This was a great fit on a 14.2 part bred Welsh Sec D and is very comfortable to sit on. It is fairly deep and therefore gives a very secure position. Being a GP saddle it can be used for most disciplines. The maker was asked by the prospective and rather insistent owner to fit a crupper but of course this was not needed on a 14.2hh pony so needless to say it was taken off hence the marks on the rear of the cantle but of course it doesnt affect the saddle performance. This is a fantastic 15.5 inch Wide fit saddle (9inches between D rings) leather saddle in excellent condition and ideal for showing or hacking. This was a great fit on a 13.2 SHP and won classes at the BSPS summer championships. It is also very comfortable to ride in. This saddle has been to the top, used at county level and needs to find its next home. Lovely two tone black English leather made by Dominion English saddlers. 15" from centre of stud to cantle, straight cut flaps that are 12" from stirrup bar to edge of flaps. 10" from D to D and 6" gullet well fitted to a sec A flat backed pony, with a narrow waist for little bodies to feel comfortable. Beautiful English Leather saddle by Farrington.   Immaculate condition, and very neat. Fits and rides very much like the Fylde saddles: Square cantle.   Full panel with knee and thigh block.   I bought this as 15.5", but it actually measures 15" from centre of stud to centre of cantle (15.5" from front edge if stud).   Stamped M on stirrup bar, but the ponies I have used it on have both taken MW in Fylde fittings... Used equally well on 11.2hh LR pony and 12.2 welsh part bred. A lovely little saddle suitable for top class showing! Viewing welcome. Beautiful Dun Filly / pony to make 15 hands. Show Quality

After holding this beautiful pony for nearly 2 months for somebody I have pulled the sale and she is now back on the market !! Beautiful 19 month old dun filly. This pony has come so far in 8 weeks and this is a very very sad sale due to unforeseen circumstances that have arisen quickly. Lolly will make 15h and has the most loving nature. Lolly is wormed, halter broken now no problem at all, goes in and out a stable easily. You can groom her, pick all 4 legs up put rugs on and off with ease. She is super little filly considering she was unhandled 8 weeks ago. She is def show quality, and my 13 year old has taught her to run up in hand already. Made by Morgan, this English leather pony saddle is a quality saddle. 15" and Medium Wide. It has been used on a 12.2hh Welsh Pony and a 13.2 Connemara. It's has been regularly flocked/cleaned/oiled as we have shown in it. Only for sale as my son has gone up a size and needs a 16". We are in Oswestry, Shropshire. You are welcome to view, but once you bid, you bud to buy. The gap at the front of the saddle, on the inside, where it would touch the withers measures 5".
