I noticed as soon as I put this saddle on my horse, the shoulders were much freer and the extended trots were much bigger!  Has been flocked  a year ago but only used 4 times since and unfortunately it doesn't fit my horse anymore as getting older and losing condition due to age. Cliff Barnsby Black Dressage Saddle 18 inch Medium Wide, I have owned this saddle from brand new buying price @£ in , I have loved and looked after this saddle (photos do not do this saddle justice) I am only selling as my dressage horse is now retired. Comes with black girth (60) and fabric cliff barnsby saddle cover (no stirrup leather or irons) this saddle is in excellent condition.  As I appreciate how hard it is to buy a saddle with out trying or looking I am happy for you and horse to come to my house (Nottingham NG14 7FS) to have a look or try on your horse, if this helps. Barnsby dressage saddle in pristine condition. It was bought new 2 years ago (value then £) and used infrequently since. It is cleaned after use and so is in impeccable condition. It is 18" to give rider more room as the cantle is so high. Excellent support given. Would consider part exchange for black 17.5" M/MW old dressage saddle, doesn't need to be smart, just useable and safe. P&P will be a small additional cost.

18" Wide fit Dressage Saddle

Minster Dressage Saddle, 18", wide Measures about 9" wide This saddle was made to measure for one of my horses by Minster Saddlery. It's a lovely hand crafted saddle, English beech tree, stuffed with white English lambswool. Had very little use as sadly my horse decided that a ridden career really was not for him and that he would prefer to be a lazy layabout field ornament!! Lol It is in very good condition, is little used and is extremely comfortable to ride on. Although it is a dressage saddle it had short GP saddle style girth straps as the saddler felt they would give a more secure and stable fastening on his somewhat rotund sides and flat backed frame! However, when it was made, it was done with a view to being able to convert it to conventional length dressage straps in the future so I am sure this could easily be done. It has a few very minor marks on the leather but nothing more than you would expect from a saddle that was anything other than brand new. There are no rips, tears or any faults with it. It has had calf skin stirrup leathers on it from new so no nasty rub marks from the leathers. Always been kept at home in a good quality padded bag that is included in the sale.
