BAILE CELESTE 80 BASS ACCORDION

I don`t know how old this accordion is but I have owned it for approximately 5 years. It plays as an accordion should everything works as it should. Clean bellows with no funny smells Unfortunately, I now have arthritis along with a few other medical problems that prevent me playing it as much as I would like. I bought this in hope of it being sufficiently lighter and therefore easier to play than my full sized accordion, but it was and still is, too heavy for me. It is a nice accordion that needs to be played more often than I can. Accordions really do need to be played or they begin to malfunction. Comes with a useable and good fitting case, (not the best but does the job), and leather shoulder straps. I`ve put a couple of youtube links that you can cut and paste to have a listen to it. Would really prefer anyone interested to come and try it first if they can. Accordions are notoriously difficult to package securely so I would prefer collection or the buyer to arrange a courier, (if it is to be sent I will package it securely for collection), but I will send it by courier if I have to. I make no profit from post or packaging and only charge whatever it costs. I have sold quite a few accordions and other instruments in the past and know how to package an accordion correctly. Baile Musette, 4 Voice, Musette Tuned, 120 Bass, Piano Accordion.

Up for sale I have a Baile, musette tuned, piano accordion. It has, 41 treble keys, 4 sets of treble reeds, (LMMM). The treble keyboard measures 19" ranging from F to A. It has 11 treble couplers, 8 different coupler combinations. It also has 5 sets of reeds in the bass, with 2 couplers, high sets of reeds and all reeds (master).. The accordion, with its straps weighs 10.7kgs (23.2lbs). Both treble and bass reeds have been tuned to concert pitch (A = 440Hz). The accordion is made by Baile, China, Circa, late 's, early 70’s. This accordion is in excellent condition with original straps and comes with a fiber case. Compression is excellent. It has also been serviced with adjustments, replacements and cosmetic touches made where required. The compression is very good. It also comes with what looks like its original straps and case, which are in reasonable condition. My name is Gordon and I am a professional accordion repairer and tuner. For an additional fee, I could modify the piccolo reeds to play 5 1/3’, making it a great jazz sounding accordion, if preferred, making it unique, for a competitive fee. This accordion can either be viewed by appointment, or alternately, you can get in touch and we can arrange a time to view it through skype, or if you just want to near what it sounds like, I can make an audio recording on request.
