Large Pond Filter Bacci Shower
This is a pond filter constructed from a very robust moulded 15 gallon water tank. It is designed to be configurable to the needs of the user allowing for the use of different media such as brushes, K1, alfagrog, sponges, or flocor. The filter measures 57cm wide by 67cm long and has a depth of 47cm. All the metal screws are marine grade stainless steel and the plastic is fish safe. The water can be flowed either direction, in through the spray bars when they are turned down to flow over the chosen filter media and out through the 3” outlet fitted to the sump, or flowed in from the 3” inlet into the sump where solids will settle and pushed through a media of your choice before exiting through the three 1 1/2” outlet bars, these are a standard size domestic push fit plumbing pipe to allow for easy attachment of additional pipework. In my case I used this filter to mature some K1 as a static media before introducing it to my existing filters. I used jap mat over the top of the grid to keep the K1 suspended while draining down for cleaning. However flocor or alfagrog would sit on the grid with no need for additional media or sponges. This could even be used as a bacci shower. The lid is included with the tank and is vented in case you wanted to pump O2 into your media. If you know what your looking at and understand how this can be used, I am open to offers. Thanks for looking Ad ID: Delivery Service Consumer Credit
