Baby Grand Piano - Welmar by Bluthner

This is our Baby Grand Piano - it is 1.5m wide across the keyboard, 1.4m deep from front to back and just under 1.0m high. It is finished in a mahogany veneer - I think its called Fiddle-back mahogany. It has a beautiful tone and plays nicely. It has some faults in the veneer finish with some sun damage on one side and where someone placed a candle on the fold-under piece of the top - you can't see this normally. It would benefit from a french polisher of you want to fix these problems. We had it moved to our house for £50 but that was some years ago and I guess it would be double that today. As we are downsizing soon, we will want to to sell our grand piano. It was made by Franz Oeser, has a black frame and is approximately 1.7 metres long and 1.4 metres wide. I have owned the piano for 25 years and it has been regularly tuned throughout this time by Cheshire Pianos. We shall be sad to see it go as it has been a great feature of our house for all these years
