I have four, one big wild type (brown & green colouring) who is about 12 inches, the melanoid (black) is around 8 inches and two leucistic (pink colouring with black eyes) who are around 4 inches long. Axolotls are large aquatic salamanders that can grow upto 12inches so one axolotl needs a 2 foot tank. They are cold water and eat earthworms. The babies I have eat chopped bloodworm. Leucistic Axolotls Wanted

I am currently seeking to purchase two leucistic axolotls or one leucistic and one melanoid. I have no preference on the gender as am an experienced axolotl owner. I have some Female Leucistic Axolotls I am selling for £21 each. A few have nibbled legs but are growing back fine. As of April 20th I have 7 left. Axolotls are extinct in the wild and only way you can see them now is through captive breeding. They are simple to look after, all you need is a rectangular tank, cold water, water declorinator, live earthworms for food and a cave for them to hide in. Filters are not recommended as they like the water as still as possible so manual changes of water is best. They are 21 Month old (born July ). They are currently on average 15cm in length. They are eating live earthworms full time now. I am unable to post them out to you so will be collection only from the M9 area of Manchester.
