Thinking of selling this much loved Astra convertible it’s the 1.9cdti engine with 150bhp. The car has been in the family for about 7 years being owned by my mum who drove it a maximum of 5 miles 4 days a week up until about a month ago when unfortunately the turbo blew then because it over reved it scared her a bit and she refused to step foot back in the car and bought a new 1 I bought the car off her and had the turbo replaced but when the turbo blew previous it caused to much damage to the engine for it to run right. So I bought a second hand engine for the car and had the engine fully replaced The car is currently showing miles ish but the engine that went in had nearly wich is still nothing for these engines. The car runs lovely and as it should the only problem it has at the moment is a bit of a rattle (nothing major) coming from the tensioner for the alternator belt. I was going to have it replaced but having another car and a van I haven’t got round to it. This can be proven by taking the belt off. As soon as you do it’s quiet as anything and also every now and again (very rarely now) it let’s out a little chug of smoke wich is down to when the turbo blew previously still some oil sitting in the cat The car is lovely for the summer and lovely and cheap to run Look for or maybe a swap for another vehicle cash either way Grab a great summer bargain Ad ID: Delivery Service Consumer Credit
