For Sale is a USED - Lightweight DPM Webtex Ripstop SAS Smock in Size XLarge Size is (height/chest in cm) = XLarge USED and faded condition, ~ see photos Before buying -- has minor cosmetic signs of use, seem on one pocket is open an inch at top, -- missing a tooth on zip (zip still works) -- missing some velcro on storm flap Still serviceable with a few years left in it, This smock is ideal for camping, hiking, air-soft, paint-balling, bird watching, fishing and general outdoors use. Manufactuers buff: The Webtex SAS smock in British DPM is patterned after the highly popular British Army SAS Smock. Featuring a standard size hood with drawstring, the smock has four large bulgy pockets closed with Canadian type slotted buttons; these are two angled pockets on the chest and two square pockets on the hip. The smock also has the commando style rank tab on the front, closed with a slotted button. Further pockets are: an arm pocket on the right and an internal chest pocket. The smock has an internal drawstring on the waist and a further one on the lower hem and these help to shape the smock to the wearer to lower chafing from belt kits and to reduce heat loss from the bottom of the smock. The arms are reinforced at the elbow and have woolly stretch cuffs which wrap around the wrists to help prevent heat loss from this critical area. The smock is made of wind resistant polyester and cotton which is machine washable. The material is medium to light weight and is designed as an outer layer to be used in conjunction with thermal mid-layers for warmth. For Sale is a DPM Webbing Set, consisting of partly issued pouches and privately purchased (webtex) pouches. Issued & Used, fully servicable (see Photos and Description below) very good grade1, -- some pouches are faded, with cosmetic signs of use PLCE was issued and used by the british military and introduced to replace the old canvas 58' webbing. Made of heavy duty nylon cordura, its designed to take on the most ardous of conditions, and help carry and distribute the individual soldiers fighting load with comfort. The biggest strength of the PLCE webbing is the yoke can be tailored to the needs of the individual soldier. For sale is a British Army Para Smock, ( pattern) Issued/Used - but in great condition, minor wear and fading as expected from ex/used military clothing Size Label is missing, i believe it was (height/chest in CM) LARGE Highly sought after combat smock/Jacket with wool cuffs, And is the modern equivelent of the old Denison Para Smocks. I personally used one of these (with doneky tail removed) for a few years while serving as my main field jacket. Each one of these ages individually with the wearer and so each becomes unique. History of this Smock: this smock was original owned and used by a member of the Royal Marines, and was used in training and on Operations in Northern Ireland and Bosnia.
