Armchair - New Upholstery, This armchair has been carefully stripped back to the original beechwood frame, restored and traditionally rebuilt, retaining the original castors. The frame is original and french. Turned legs have been chalk painted and waxed. Hand built pads comprise of english webbing, steel coil springs, coconut coir, horse/hog hair, cotton flock and calico.The seat has a independently sprung front edge. Antique/vintage leather & rattan armchair with prof made cushions (ideal upholstery project)

This chair had brand new bespoke cushions (from John Lewis) 10 years ago, now a little light-faded. It is perfectly usable (and really comfortable) as a chair straight away but ideally looking for someone to restore the upholstery and leather as a project to bring it back to its full glory.
