This is a lovely Aria Pro II Magna bass with J/P pickup configuration. It is a nice light bass so would suit the younger player. Everything works as it should as it has been looked after. I think this is a vintage aria from the 80's they seem to get very good reviews and are getting pretty hard to find. A VERY rare find this one. I haven't seen another walnut finish on an ash body version of the SB-, and the look is stunning. The serial number on this one is , which dates it as one of the VERY VERY early ones in – so this bass is 37 years old! It was crafted in Japan at the legendary Matsumoko facility. Build quality, tone and playability are exceptional. The headstock has the “bat ears” design that was used on these very early ones. The bass definitely has the vintage SB look with that distinct body, inlays, and headstock complete with the classic Aria Pro II logo and paragraph worth of copyright info. It has a parallel neck, so tight spacing, lending itself to fast playing, with brass nut, brass bridge. It is not completely original - the original pickup being swapped for a Kent Armstrong version by the previous owner, but I have the original pickup, which will be supplied with the bass, in case the next owner wishes to reinstall. As seen in the photos, it’s in very clean condition. It has of course been used throughout its life, so has a few minor marks that I’ve tried to photograph. Fret wear is minimal. Sold complete with non-original hard case. This gem is certain to increase in value over the coming years. Read More

Aria full-scale-length electric acoustic bass guitar. All in good playable condition and working as it should. I bought it for my wife for Christmas. She is learning on a short-scale bass and wanted to try a full size acoustic one (so she wouldn't have to plug in for practicing). This is just too big for her. Rare Japanese Aria Pro II Laser Electric Bass in

For sale is my Japanese Aria Pro II Laser Electric Bass guitar made in Matsumoku, Japan and this is the non active version. It has been re strung with Rotosound bass strings and the intonation has been checked, also has strap locks and comes with a brand new gig bag. Features 2 pickups, volume and tone knob and a 3 way pickup selector. The sounds you can get of this bass is amazing, that classic vintage tones that you find in old Aria bass guitars. As you can see this looks a really nice for it's age as the white finish has faded over the years. It has a few dings and some paint chips but then this guitar is 33 years old and has had some use over the years. If you are interested then please email or phone me. I'm located in Ashford, Kent.
