Ibanez Artstar- archtop Jazz Guitar Semi-acoustic

Moving house and having a clearout. A Korean Ibanez Artstar AF 120 in a very attractive sunburst. I've played it through an amp recently and the electrics are working. Comes with hard case. Please see photos for condition Please note there are some imperfections as follows: 1.There are no dents or chips. But plenty of cosmetic small marks/scuffs to the guitar's body, from being played over time. One scratch to paintwork on the underside of the guitar (see photo), along with a missing nut for the strap (this could be replaced). 2. The scratchplate is missing a small nut, which needs to be replaced to fix it more securely. 3. Hard case has one slightly stiff latch that needs some attention, I'm sure it could be fixed. It does close with some encouragement. The case has a few scuffs and small chips. Collection either from Walthamstow, or Romford in East London. I'm not a guitar expert, so I'd prefer buyer to view in person and buy, so you see the guitar and try it out and are happy with it. Many thanks. Ad ID: Delivery Service Consumer Credit

Beautiful early 50s Framus archtop / jazz guitar

For sale: this gorgeous 50s jazz / archtop guitar by German make Framus. Elvis played one of these (granted, probably not this one!) I bought it for a touring project and can't afford the luxury of keeping it to be played once a year. I had it set up last year & cosmetically it's in fine shape for it's age. There are a few cracks in the varnish as I've tried to show in the photographs, but it was played live by my American colleague on two 20 date tours, the most recent of which I'm just back from, so I'm guessing it's very playable! ☺️ No electrics. My colleague used a clip on mic that easily fixes to the suspended bridge. All original parts. If you wanted to, I dare say you could source 'new-old' machine heads as I have done for my own 60s Hoyer. Comes in a hard case (not the original one for this guitar). In need of some love and expert attention - a restoration project I'm now resigned I'll not get around to!   This is a real looker and could be a great guitar to play (I tried others like this). given the right expertise. It's not a great player at the moment though!   I'm moderately confident that it's Germanic in origin. Evidence of scratchplate having being in place at some point - holes remain   Red inset on fret board is bona fide and NOT electrical tape! Laquering is crazy paved on much of body and there are lots of scratches and rubbed points but also bags of character Buyer to collect from Bath (BA2) somerset at mutually convenient time.
