It is triple laminated with hickory backing purple heart core and a lemonwood belly,the draw weight is 48lb at 28" max 30".The bow has horn nocks with stringer grooves and a horn arrow plate.The bow measures 79" from tip to tip the handle is vegetable tanned leather.The string is 14 strand dacron b50 served in yellow,the bow has a varnish finish.instructions for proper use included.Thankyou for looking and happy bidding.UK bidders only please.collection in person welcome.Ps,i dont know the bowmaker as it was a gift.

A lovely R H English longbow, just under 6 months old. Had very little use and is in mint condition. Specially made by Charnwood Archery. Bow height is 72" with a 45ib pull at 27" to a max of 29". It comes with 6 arrows matched to the bow, with a bow stringer and string. If purchased I suggest collection because of the carriage cost, of about £12. I would be willing to meet half way at a reasonable distance. Reason for sale is because of health & age reasons I am finding the poundage too heavy. I have bought a lighter weight bow. Read More

For sale, a laminated warbow 140lb at 32" around 76" long, Made from Ipe/ Pau Amarallo/ Hickory, the bow it tillerd full compass. I have put a handle on this bow because using Ipe results in very thin bows, the handle makes this bow very comfortable to hold. One of a few bows I made that never found a need for. This is also a bit too much for me. Excellently finished with varnish over oil to bring out the woods and give lasting protection.
