An Edwardian Carved Oak Mirror Fronted Compactum Fitted Interior A Large Edwardian carved oak mirror fronted compactum wardrobe, with fitted interior. The compactum is made from oak, which has a good colour and grain patination. The compactum is formed with the left hand section being set with a full length bevelled edged dressing mirror door. Opening the door it is fitted with various clothes pegs and a rail, and a shoe storage area at the base. The right hand section is formed with it having two large cupboard doors at the top which have panelled doors. These open to revile a shelf and good storage area. Under this is an open space for storing items. Below this is a chest of drawers which has two short top drawers raised above two full length graduated drawers. The compactum is raised on a caddy plinth and has a shaped and stepped cornice. The compactum has all its original fittings, and handles. There is an original makers label on the back for Christopher Pratt & Son Cabinet Makers Bradford. The compactum dates to around and splits into various section for the ease of moving. Size Height 83.5” Width 69.5” Depth 22.5” Condition The condition of the compactum is excellent with light scratches, scuffs and marks.
