Its carpets are knotted entirely in the highest-quality wool since the 15th century. One of their main characteristics is the abundance of weft passages, which can reach up to six per row of knots. The knots are symmetrical and of low density, the hems are of a flat type of 2-4 pairs of warps and and are wound up by the wefts. The edges often end with a wide band of kilim.
