Antique writing desk offered for sale. Seen some life, but still very good and needs a new home. Two large lower drawers and two upper half drawers. All slide and fit perfectly. We are moving soon to a smaller home and need it gone ASAP. The slope opens to form a writing desk by pulling out the two braces either side for it to rest on. The inside is mahogany with small drawers and pigeon holes for larger items. You can see I have been using it in my therapy room to store candles, cotton pads, cd's, incense sticks, that sort of thing. There are loads of secret drawers and spaces. The whole thing is a masterpiece of the furniture makers art, in the days when you needed to hide things from the servants. Anyway, its here if anyone can use it. It could do with a good polish, but when it shines it does look pretty darn good. Item location: Blagdon, North Somerset. Please make contact through the Friday Ad platform to arrange a viewing.
