rare & unique vintage chest / library index card cabinet /wine rack storage in solid wood (oak ?)

For sale a lovely (and rare) chest of drawers, made of solid wood (possibly oak). Actually it's a former library index card (24 drawers in total). Measurements in cm: 116 height 103 width 47 deepth (top) 53 depth (bottom) Vintage item - not sure of age, but possibly mid century or earlier. Has some marks and stains as expected of an item of this age, but nothing major. In our opinion it looks beautiful this way, and full of character. A popular use for it nowadays is to store wine, as you'll see in the last picture (please note only this pic is not of the actual cabinet). The drawers are quite deep! Selling due to a fit out, and sadly have to see it go... Its fairly heavy, but the top is detachable from the bottom making it easier for transportation (though you will probably need a van). Viewings are welcome, Mon-Sat 11am to 6pm, Sun 12pm to 5pm. We have a (free) loading bay, with lift access. Near Blackfriars (South entrance), Southwark and Waterloo. Gorgeous vintage metal index drawers. They have a great industrial look to them. Matt grey coloured finish with several areas of surface rust (mainly to top) and small white coloured paint splatters in places...this only adds to the charm! Stands on 4 stylish feet. There are 9 drawers in total, some of which vary in size. All of the drawers are fully functional and have their original chrome handles. There is a dent to the back of the drawers which can't be seen once in use. As with all items of this age it does show signs of wear and use.
