Vintage Haberdashery / Office Drawer Set.

PRICE IS FOR ONE DRAWER SET BUT 4 AVAILABLE. These drawer sets were originally placed underneath a counter top but would be easier enough to fit some wood on top of them to have freestanding. Made in veneered oak / teak on ply they measure individually approx. 13 ¾” wide x 27 ½” deep x 35” tall. The 4 drawer sets together measure 55” wide. One of the drawer sets has a short draw in it which looks okay when closed but half the length of the other drawers. I know very little about the history and purpose of this cabinet, except for it was bought in Auction around 20 years ago. I have been trying to research the original use of the cabinet as it has specific side shelves, which fold down. Someone has suggested it's a book press or maybe for tea time or sewing.
