Retro Vintage Verco Captains Adjustable Office Chair

For sale is a very retro Verco Captains chair in 'Haze Domani' fabric as indicated on the original manufacturers label still present on the underside of the chair. The approx. maximum dimensions are 120cms high x 65cms wide x 70cms deep. Please bear in mind the chair is old - it has had minimal use over the years but there are some marks/stains as indicated in some of the photos but these may come out with steam cleaning or similar (I have not attempted this). Two of the buttons have lost some of their fabric but it might be possible to utilise some of the 'spare' fabric on the underside of the cushion to make good again if you're capable. Also the top corners of the rear of the chair have lost some of their fabric but I'm sure an upholsterer would know how to disguise this if required.  The chair is in good working order with the height adjustment and tilting mechanisms working as they should. Produced in , it is number 22 (of 50, I believe) and retailed then for around £350 It is a real leather, height adjustable captains style chair with swivel and tilt functions. It has a 4-legged base mad from Oak. This chair has been used by the original owner in his office since its purchase. As such, the leather does show some signs of wear, with holes to either arm and some cracking. However, the frame, base and mechanism are in perfect order and with repair this chair has real potential. Alternatively, it could be left as is, to embrace its authentic shabby chic look.
