Brass stair rods and Brackets victorian I think!

I have had these for 40 years, I salvaged them from very old house that was turned into flats, includes brackets, I have polished one and two of the brackets, the rest require polishing. they have a steel/iron interior overlaid in brass, ends are solid brass, as are the brackets.
