Large antique/vintage lidded hot water carrying can/jug, Probably late Victorian.

Height, with handle, 14 inches (35.5 cm) Width, including handle and spout, 16 inches (40.5 cm). Bass is clearly brass, but the jug appears to have been cleaned down to the bass metal (see photos). In excellent condition considering age, three very minor surface dents. Use as a display item from a bygone era or as an unusual watering can for house plants and outdoor pots.
